The decision must have been made some time ago, because filming itself is well underway, let alone script writing. So it's too late for my preference which is Tilly, keeping the initial T and the same vowel sounds.
The casting was done in early May, so I guess this is just a press release to build up interest.
Tatty of course isn't without it's problems - she'll be 'potato' in large areas of the country!
