To confuse the issue further, TARS President, Sophie Neville (Titty, 1974) has been quoted in several reports as approving the change to Tatty, saying that one of Titty Altounyan's sisters was called 'Tatty' when they sailed!!!!! Sheer fabrication.
Titty's eldest sister was christened Barbara Harriet Taqui Altounyan — hardly nicknamed Tatty
