I've been pondering the name 'Titty' in the context of all the filthy talk I've heard in my office-bound working life (99% male). Never once did I hear anyone say that word. 'Titties' is pretty uncommon too. How could anyone have worried about the singular version of something us men only EVER talk about in the plural!?
One other random thought: I am not going to watch the new film. Not out of spite, or because they changed the plot a little or a lot. Simply because I don't want to see any films made from books I love. I find it painful, and sometimes it spoils the re-reading for me. I just can't bear it!
