Like Peter, I find the ebooks more convenient. I don't expect to get rid of the hard-cover S&A series, but they can only be in one place. I have my ebooks loaded onto my phone, tablets and PCs, so they are with me wherever I am. What I dislike about Amazon's Kindle is that they let you have copies of your books on a fixed number of devices, and they make it very difficult for you to identify which device is which unless you are extremely precise in naming them; further it's all too easy to get a new version of the software installed on a device (which then counts as two devices). I read epub formats, for which there are multiple reader applications available for virtually any platform.
