According to the property section of today's Sunday Times the flat in Fulham that AR lived in the 1950s is up for sale. Asking price £3m!
Reasonably priced, then. Fulham was a nice place, when I lived there.
I wonder what they'll actually get? There's a prediction going around that London house prices are so out of line with any potential purchaser's means (other than international criminals/bankers/footballers) that they are about to crash. As a London house owner, I think that would be a very good thing. But there seems to be an endless supply of very rich criminals.
Nice to think that when AR lived there he was at least a prosperous and successful author, whereas the previous time he was a Bohemian in London, squeezing by.
