As a perpetrator of a private musing (MM vol 2 no 3 p24) I agree with Ian Wright, and practically everybody but Prue in this thread. Speculation is fun, and an inevitable part of the pleasure of the books but attempting to write a sequel is a very different matter, and almost certain to fail when you take into account AR's style and intentions, and all the aspects of the series - and it is a series, not just a succession of books, which ends very satisfactorily, I've always thought with GN. Even AR couldn't manage a sequel.
That said, Prue, put us out of our misery. WHY Nancy and Timothy? It's not obvious to me. I had her paired off with Tom Dudgeon.
