Just to show that Tarboard is indeed working, I'll post something,
despite not having anything world-shattering to say.
In today (29/03/00)'s (ex-Manchester) Guardian there's a large still from
the 1974 S&A film. It's in the G2 section, page 4. AR is mentioned
only in passing in the accompanying article, which is about the presence
or absence in children's books of sex and other real-world nastiness.
It seems to have been prompted by a recent statement by J.K. Rowling
that in the next Harry Potter volume, the main characters will start
to have romantic involvements, and also that a major character will die.
(This has attracted a lot of interest in the British media this week -
they don't seem to be aware that she has said both things before, or
that Harry's sexual awakening has already begun in the third book.)
