Just got a catalog from GODINE publishers and see there they have
listed nine of the twelve RANSOME stories (missing are PM, GN, ML).
Their listed price is $14.95 American for each book. These are
paperback editions.
Not trying to sound like a commercial. I am not associated with
the publisher in any way, and so have no personal axe to grind.
At least it is nice to see that SOMEONE on this side of the Atlantic
has a commercial interest in propogating the Ransome stories.
If interested, one might try AMAZON.COM before WWW.GODINE.COM
where you probably will find a slightly cheaper price for the
same product by the same publisher.
Not a bad way to remember the grandchildren around the Christmas
Tree. A lot of fun to read to them at that time as well. Let the
next generation learn to enjoy what we have come to love.
