"is to take the waters at Harrogate"
This is in the same statement regarding the deal old friend, Huskisson, that the G.A. is planning to go visit.
I was wondering just what is meant by "to take the waters". Is the water there especially good to drink? Is it worth travelling to just to tip a few?
Or does this mean, go for a swim?
