I've been thinking about this too as I find that I re-read CC and B6 less often than the Lakes books. Although I admit to an especial fondness for the Lakes, I lived on a house boat at Wroxham for a number of years, an event not completely unconnected with AR so I also have an in built affection for the Broads books. I love the Broadland scenes especially in B6 but have come to the conclusion that there is just too much plot in them to stand up to heavy duty re-reading.
I imagine AR had fun writing through Dorothea's voice in these books making them fit to the more lurid genres she was trying out in Outlaw of the Broads ( did she have a detective novel on the go for B6?). But I find that repeated reading can blunt suspense and does allow your attention to wander towards weaknesses in the plot.
