I too (and probably a lot more of us who post here than you might hope) am over sixty with a beard. But most of us share your dream. Along with many of us, Arthur Ramsome inspired me to become involved in sailing and visit the places that became as much a part of the geography of my mind as the north country where I live in Canada. I have happy memories of sailing on Horsey and Hickling way back in 1988. I guess you were about one year old then. It's very heartening to hear that Ramsome's stories are still appreciated by someone of your age. If perchance you haven't read them all you much to be envied.
