Mea culpa! I should have remembered Eling, because the custodians of the Woodbridge mill always draw attention to it.

And Ian is right - "Goblin" anchors towards the Shotley bank of the Orwell, in what Ian and I and some others here will remember as "the barge anchorage", tucked under the water tower, and not, as I thought, in the old Quarantine anchorage inside the Walton buoy. I remember anchoring there in the 1970's when back from Holland and being boarded by an enormous Customs launch which I thought might be the same one!
