Interesting that people are thinking of some animal in Scotland - I always just
assumed that AR meant the WildCat or Bobcat of North America. This is a medium
sized feline - about mid-way between a tabby and a cougar - that is known for
its ferocity. I also looked up wildcat in my Oxford dictionary. It has
the connotations of something that is sudden and reckless. So it fit perfectly
to the Amazons. But stray cat - never!
