Here's a genuine offer to be taken gratis to places some of us would give our eye teeth to see, in a boat typical of ones that AR wrote about, by a bloke who knows very well that not all AR fans are boat-owners and is offering those very people this opportunity, and apart from me, four of the first five people to reply have only done so to criticise, in various degrees of hostility, Ian's comment about that very lack of boat-ownership that he was offering to address.
I'm reminded of nothing so much as the attitude of the Hullabaloos to the Death-and-Glories, after they'd been saved from drowning on Breydon Water.
