I too am saddened by the passing of Susie. Although we never met we did correspond some years ago regarding Charlie Jolly, the son of the farmer at Bank Ground Farm before the Batty's, when I had great pleasure in sending her, and Titty, framed copies of the Bank Ground farm Visitors Book from 1928 with all the families names, including Dora and Ernest's, which she immediately recognised as being in her father's handwriting.

As Andy says, it truly is the end of an era. I feel very privileged to have known all except Roger.
