Reading Brian Hammett's new edition of Racundra's First Cruise, I noticed AR wrote:'"Master and Owner of the Racundra" Does any man need a prouder title or description? In moments of humiliation, those are the words I shall whisper for comfort. I ask no others on my grave.'
It set me thinking, does anyone know what words were eventually written on AR's headstone?
