Alan-

I was unaware of previous efforts on the topic of Beckfoot floorplan.

If that Japanese version DID agree with mine, now THAT would be
most remarkable, especially as I included several items that have
no justification in text or drawings, but are just the result of my own
imagination, and are so indentified as such.

As noted in my offering, each has their own mental image of this
place, an image that indeed will not agree in totality with my own
personal image. This display of my own concept by no means
defines for all times just how things were, but, could form the
basis of some lively discussion comparing one person's mental
image and concept with that of another's.

Not reading Japanese, that could make difficult the interpretation
of their layout. It would be interesting if a readable version could
be made available on TARBOARD - for comparison purposes.

Maybe now this will get others to thinking, and to drawing their own
unique version of the concept. The purpose is not to say who is
right or who is wrong, but to stimulate that mental image into
taking a more vivid definite shape, an image that each, for his
own reasons, is suitable for his needs.

It took a lot of digging through the texts, but then, that is fun for
any reason.

For that is the way it is, with all Things Ransome.
