Well in a post (which I seem to have misplaced) on Ted Walker's career, I assumed he was a lieutenent on a cruiser on the Australia Station 1906-1912. They met while Mary was attending school while living with her cousin in Sydney c.1909. They married shortly before his ship was transfered to NZ c.1911. He was transfered to the Mediterranean in 1912, and she spent the Great War as a navy wife, probably living in Malta.
