As someone in TARS (not an Admiral) who is involved with the managing of the Society's defence to the Roche court claim, may I say just two brief things.

First, I deplore any attempts by anyone to drag this wretched business onto Tarboard. Let those of us who are lumbered with dealing with it get on with this in private and let everyone else enjoy Ransome chat.

Secondly, though, and I really must say this - contrary to a recent comment, I can't recall any 'vitriol' being expressed by any TARS member on Tarboard towards the Claimant. All TARS members want is to be able to continue to enjoy their activities in peace. I heartily agree with Andy Bolger that TARS Regional events take place every month in an atmosphere of total friendliness with no mention of court cases, and I would urge anyone thinking of joining not to be put off by any comments that might have appeared on Tarboard.
