Christina Hardyment, who is one of AR's Literary Executors, spoke to us during the TARS AGM weekend about some plans in progress. Although apparently there are no prospects of a reprint of Coots in the North or Arthur Ransome and Captain Flint's Trunk, Jonathan Cape have agreed to a major clean-up of all the errors that have slipped into the Twelve over the years. Dave Sewart, another Literary Executor, is working hard on this, and Cape have promised to incorporate his corrections as the hardback editions are reprinted.
Czech, Latvian and Estonian translations are also in progress, inspired, she believes, by Ted Alexander's hard work over there.
And a new issue of Old Peter's Russian Tales is expected from Jane Nissen (publisher) about September 2003.
