Speaking of sailing around the world alone, I am now reading a book titled Maiden Voyage by Tania Aebi. She was about 18 when she set off from New York in 1987, and became the first woman who sailed the world alone.
I heard about this book from a person I met at a sailing party (on two dinghies) this summer.
