Thanks for the clarification, Robert, and this guessing of the name must obviously be a ‘boat thing’. However, as you are getting a fair amount of publicity for the naming of your dinghy, could I also point out that the ‘TARS Northern Region event' of 12th July which you referred to in fact consists of an event-packed day on the Windermere shore, the highlight of which will be the ‘Return of the G.A. to Beckfoot’. There will be many other land and water-based AR-related happenings, including a re-enactment of the ‘No Go’ lawnmowing. A great deal of planning has gone into the day, and all Tars are welcome – details in Signals.
