Sir, a set of comedians, forsooth! That was the renowned Monty Python's Flying Circus. It concerned the members of an Australian Department of Philosophy, all of whom were called Bruce so they made the new English philosopher change his name to avoid confusion. Above is a picture of the Bruces.
