Yup; even if it's audio, it's published and that makes it libel.

I worked most of my life for the BBC and libel doesn't have to be printed; publication is the important test. That includes appearing in a public forum on line, in which case the ISP can be jointly liable if they don't remove the item when they're advised that it's libellous. There is English case law on all this.
