NORIKO/Titmouse-san, Peter, AHOY!

I learned from an ARC member (Polaris-san) that Easter Sunday is the Sunday
following the first full moon after the Spring Equinox day (around March 20).
Using a cool homepage that can tell the moon phase of a given date, I found
Easter in 1931/32 as follows:

1931: full moon on April 2 (Thu), Easter Sunday on April 5
1932: full moon on March 22 (Tue), Easter Sunday on March 27

Tom set Margoletta adrift on April 22, and Margoletta finally hit a beacon
post on Breydon Water on May 6. If I assume the year 1931, the Easter
holiday has to be at least 5 weeks following Easter Sunday. Wow, it is a
very loooong holiday! Were the children in those days enjoying such a
long Eastery holiday?
