I simply cannot see the S&As and Ds as being any different from how AR showed them. Mp3s, laptops, palm pilots, computers, Gameboys, etc. notwithstanding, there is still that glorious Lake in the North to explore. Nancy would still be Nancy, John would still be John, Roger would still love chocolate, Titty would still have her imagination, and Dorothea would still be creating new worlds in her head. They would realize, as so many children today do, that the real world is much more exciting than the electronic world. AR gave us the real world, although you can find it in the pages of his novels.
