As I say, a long way from AR but interesting stuff - to some of us!

Not really - most of Dick's best stuff was pure science. I love the bell ringing in PP and the chemistry. I can see someone in a book asking Dick that question of the diameter and he pulls out his notebook and works out an answer.

Taking the photograph in The Big Six was also pure science. We had 35 people pardoned in Texas yesterday who were framed and sent to Prison by a guy whose morality and ethics and scientific method were far below that practiced by Dick and pure GO style.

No Ar was a closet scientist .

Long live science and sailing. It was a lot of maths to recreate the data to draw Swallow. It is a lot easy if we have a boat to copy.

Back to boats - in the picture of AR sailing Swallow he is holding the sheet in his hand as drawn in the famous Scarab sketch by Dick. So it did not include blocks for the sheet on the boat.
