Thanks for your compliment. I'm sure it was passed by Pockut-san to her husband who arranged the music and made the MIDI data.

I made a map of English Channel that shows all the points the Spanish Ladies song mentions, and added it to my home page. It is one of my wild dreams to visit all these points from the sea.

By the way, I and a few other ARC members are debating over the wind direction when the sailors in the Spanish Ladies went up the channel. The second verse of the song says south-west wind, which is a good wind to go up the channel. However, Peter Duck said that the wind must have been against them, otherwise they would have gone straight from Ushant to St. Catherine's Point (on Wight) without even thinking of Scilly, Dodman, etc.. It's certainly strange to think of Scilly even if the wind is against, but I myself is inclined to Peter Duck's theory.

I heard that such debate was already held among TARS members in the past. Would someone kindly post here the outline of the discussion/conclusion or let me know where I can find it? Thanks in advance.

Cheers,
Tohru COOT Mori
