Yeah good point, Ian. I said ‘English’ to avoid the English-Scottish minefield, Mel Gibson’s Braveheart and all that. Oh what the hell, it’s only a bottle of coffee essence anyway. I agree with those who think it tastes awful, and I am not impressed by the argument that you’d drink it if you were parched in the desert. You’ll drink anything in those circumstances, including, er . . . you know what, Ransome never mentioned it . . .oh let’s call it ‘Chanel No 12448’.
