Did Titty have enough geometry to figure it out.
I am sure she was smart enough but would she have had the maths.

So was her age right and at what level do they teach trig in British schools in the 30's

There is enough on the rough plan to make a good stab at it. Did she have the skills. Not measuring the base length is an AR technical error.

Yes it is a good story, I have just been reading Ordinary Familes set in Pin Mill - has any one else read it as well.

Different to AR.
