Well at least the childrens’ section of the Public Library in Wellington, New Zealand has Arthur Ransome’s S&A books are in both the current and the “Nostalgia” section!

The 1967 Constitution of the Society for the Protection of the Characters of A. A. Milne at Canterbury University, Christchurch New Zealand (a very English city) had as other objects “to ensure that Poohsticks be included in the Arts Festival” and “to find the Woozle and capture the Heffalump”.

Also to disseminate “The Works” of the following authors:
Lewis Carroll
Kenneth Graeme
Tove Jenssen
Hugh Lofting
Beatrix Potter
Dr Seuss
J.R.R. Tolkein
Unfortunately Arthur Ransome was not included!
