Well said Peter about Susan. But please send me the whole article.

As one line in the book goes - We couldn't have done half the things without Susan.

She is every woman who ever marched with a family into the wilderness and cleaned and scrubbed and cooked and was right there. The macho stuff of the Frontiersman and his gun, god Frontiersman mainly killed their children with their inability to handle guns safely (this fact brought to you courtey of the National Geographic Society.)

And who said a Army marches on its stomach.
