I've just finished watching 'The Big Read' and, as disappointed as I am that SA didn't have 100% of the panel's vote, the final result (4 votes for SA and 4 for Wind in the Willows) seems to me to be a very fair outcome. Two totally different books, written in totally different styles and both as well loved today as they were when they were both published.
I have also just voted (See Katharine's 'vote for Ransome' link) and SA has only 37% of the vote. Now that doesn't seem fair.
