I have found another clue to suggest Jim is a Younger brother: When the Swallows visit the Billies in S&A, one of the Billies says he remembers Mrs Blackett "Young Miss Turner she was then" no bigger than Susan, and Master Jim with her. It is far more likely that he would have said "Mister Turner
and young Miss Molly" if their ages were the other way around. I am sorry, I didnt bring the text with me here to the computer, so there may be a small error.
