As we seem to use this tern within my family quite a bit.....
I would define stroppy as someone who goes "off the mark" without any logical reason or can't back their arguements (sp?) up.....

I guess I take to mean as it as a kind of unconsolable sulk.

Whether this is the correct use of the word I do not know but it the one that I know.
