Ah, yes, the flies! I can only assume that the Lake Disrict is more benevolent than many of the parts of Australia that I have lived in. It would be a toss-up who would get to the carcass first, the flies or the crows. Significantly, flies are uncommon in Melbourne since the release of the African Dung Beetle here.
