Are you going to make a Swallows and Amazons Atlas? You could imagine a fantastic book with the various maps (you know, after a broad-sweep map of Secret Water you could zoom in on the upper reaches or whatever).

If that is the plan and you find a willing publisher, let me know, because I'm still trying to find an eager home for my Swallows and Amazons bird book (which is looking great, by the way!)

The other thing that struck me is, wouldn't those maps look fantastic on an interactive DVD or CD-Rom? It only struck me because I was playing with the interactive Atlas on the Lord of the Rings:Two Towers special edition DVD last night...

If publishers remain unforthcoming for my bird book, how about a 'Complete Companion to the Swallows and Amazons Series' CD-Rom, with interactive atlas, guide to flora and fauna, biographies, character studies, a virtual tour of the Nancy Blackett, Beckfoot floor plans... All done via TARS? ...Or am I being over-ambitious again?!
