This is the title of a newly-published book on punctuation by Lynne Truss and refers, I think, to the Giant Panda - the expression has a rather different meaning depending on whether a comma is included, viz :

"The Giant Panda eats shoots and leaves"

as opposed to

"The Giant Panda eats, shoots and leaves"
