Well, my experiences of living on or by the water come very different stages in my life, as a child and as a student so the reality could be very different, like Robert, his wife and the skiing. But boats and water can give a lot of pleasure from simply being rather than actively doing. Doing is better I suppose, or maybe daydreaming when you should be doing something else is best of all. One day I'd like to find out again.
