Couple of days before the end of the hols, IIRC. I was, however, thinking more in relative terms. We know it snowed during the week preceding the opening days of WH, as there was the reference to the snow melting into the igloo at that time. I infer that prior to that there hadn't been much snow. IIRC, there's also a reference to hunting up the sledge after that snow.
