I was not late I hope, or else my parents jumped the gun on the wedding night. I have counted carefully I was born 9 month and 22 days after their wedding.
A lot of people over the years said I must never have known who my father was, but I was sure they were wrong, cause mum loved the old bastard till the day she died, even though he should have been drowned at birth, he is the last of the real duffers.
Do not get me started on sailing off shore with him in the south tasman sea.
