And for those who haven't come across it yet, Sam Llewellyn has written a very good sequel to The Riddle of the Sands. Published in 1998, and called The Shadow in the Sands, it's touted as "a racy and first-rate continuation" of the original story. ISBN (in paperback) is 0-7472-6005-2. Well worth reading.
