The question was raised about references to "Force" as a breakfast
food. I looked up several different breakfast foods of that
genre and found the following:

SA - Chapter 5 -
I've brought a box of Force for breakfast.

SA - Chapter 23 -
breakfast-dinner meal of Grape Nuts, eggs, bread and marmalade,

WH - Chapter 22 -
"There's lots of Quaker Oats in the cupboard."

PM - Chapter 7 -
milk the night before. That meant no cornflakes and milk as

cornflakes and chocolate. They were certainly not going to starve.

SW - Chapter 26 -
"Let's have it," said Titty. "And the cornflakes
have got a good burnable box."

and cornflakes all mixed up in the knapsack?" said Bridget.

Looked for the words, "Force", "Grape", "Quaker", "cornflakes".
The above lines are the ONLY references made to these items.

----------------------

And as for that favorite, "porridge", there were many references.
BS - CH10
GN - CH3, CH8, CH13, CH19
ML - CH14, CH16
PD - CH15, CH9, CH29
PP - CH10
SA - CH5, CH10, CH31
SD - CH3, CH15, CH22
SW - CH2, CH28
WD - CH14
WH - CH1, CH22

----------------------

Now that you have all this fantastic information, I'm not sure
just what usage will be made of it, but there 'tis, so have at it...
