Good point Andrew; It reminds me of a time, around 20 years ago, when I saw a cigarette extinguished by being tossed into a motorcycle petrol tank, in fact I saw this stunt performed several times as it was the 'Party Piece' performed by one of the members of a motorcycle club I was in!
I hasten to point out that this was extremely foolhardy and should not be attempted by anyone, it could result in serious injury, death etc.
