In an early Cape hb edition of PM, Nancy “peals” off her wet bathing suit after visiting the Picts (does that ring any bells?).
PS: didn’t realise until it was mentioned recently that the dustjackets of the Cape hb editions are in B&W but with one background colour each, differing for each book. Cheaper than colour printing I suppose. They were certainly striking covers!
