Yup, this and other age problems get discussed here at intervals. Bridget uses matches in SW if I remember correctly, though Roger still wasn't allowed in WH.
Peggy is as big as John in S&A, but there are several indications in later books (ML and WH at least) that she's smaller than Susan and not much bigger than Dot, with whom she shares a shoe size in PM.
Dick in PM has studied qualitative analysis at school, which would seem to make him much older than you would deduce from the previous books.
