26) Unfortunately, dust-jackets tend to survive on few copies of Ransome's works. Their survival rate on books held in libraries is particularly low. Therefore I have failed to see a number of them, and ask anyone who has a copy of one of the following, *in the first printing only*, in the original dust-jacket, to please get in touch with me at .
