Peter, the more you write, the more I agree with you. I can never understand why some people turn up their noses at books about polite, well-behaved children. Having lived with both kinds, there is no doubt which I prefer. Moreover, well-behaved children seem to be a lot happier - well-adjusted - as we used to call it. I wonder if there is a connection between the way they behave and how their parents vote in elections?
