Ransome's kids - stole (PM), lied (SW) to the GA about what they were doing, ran off without permission (WH) used other peoples property without permission (WH), trespassed (GN?), I am sure we can find other things.

They broke into the house to get CF stuff, I know it was in a good cause and essential to the plot, but technically it is stealing.
THe GA was kept in the dark about lots of goings on in SW and also PM. The GA did not think of kids beside Swallows (so she was a bit stupid) but it does not mitigate the fact that Nancy stretched the truth a lot in hiding the D's again essentail to the plot but she did lie by ommission to the old duck, which is still a lie in my book.

I am not saying these things were wrong just in a clinical view of it
- the GA was the subject of much behind the back stuff. (So is my ex-wife so I know what it is like to need to do it).

It just shows they were normal kids and not the super models we all believe.

Whilst CF might not mind them using the houseboat - he was not told.

So I am not being judgemental merely saying that the plots needed deception at times and that some people may see it as not kosher.
