An often reused theme in science fiction is that of the mysterious shop. These stores appear and disappear, and may carry anything from a genie in a bottle to your heart's desire. (Prices may be a little high for that last)
Many of these stores have been bookshops, and at least a few have been bookshops where you can buy books that were never completed, or perhaps never even written. If anyone knows of one of these shops, please let me know- I need to read the complete Coots of the North!
